World Forum for Motor Museums 2018

Monday 3 September - Friday 7 September

'The Road Ahead: Motor Museums for the 21st Century'

The British Motor Museum and Coventry Transport Museum are proud to announce that the 2018 World Forum for Motor Museums will take place from Monday 3rd September to Friday 7th September 2018.

The Forum will combine formal conference sessions at both host museums with a programme of visits, chosen to give delegates the chance to not only discover more about Britain’s rich automotive heritage but also the history and culture of Shakespeare’s England and the West Midlands region. Visits already confirmed include the Black Country Living Museum, Morgan Cars and the Silverstone Experience.

The conference will be an opportunity for delegates to discuss the common challenges that we all face running museums and heritage sites including income generation, exhibition development, visitor experience and caring for historic vehicle collections. The programme will be a mixture of formal and informal presentations, tours, debate and discussions.
